Sandoche BALAKRICHENAN
I head the Research & Development Partnerships at Afnic (The French Network Information Center). My research is in networked computer systems, with current interests in IoT identity management, security and privacy. I have been an invited IoT expert at the European Commission representing the European ccTLD community, IoT expert reviewer at Cap Digital, RIPE IoT Working Group Co-Chair (2019 - 2023) and LoRa Alliance Academic Working Group Chair (Since 2020). I actively participate/contribute to standardisation and associated organisations such as GS1, LoRa-alliance, IETF, RIPE and AIOTI.
I received my PhD in ‘Computer Science and Networks’ from the Pierre and Marie Curie University and is an advisor for PhD students. My other degrees include - an MSc in ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ from HEC, MSc in ‘Computer and Communication networks’ from Institut Nationale des Télécommunications, a Bachelors Engineering degree in ‘Computer Science’ from the Madras University and a Diploma in ‘Computer Science’ from the Directorate of Technical Education, India.
